Need a little advice have a 584 international tractor around 1980 model was using it today and started to make a whine noise almost like steering wheel when you cut it to hard but does it all the time now, up hill down hill does not make a diffrence lift is still strong but noticed has a small amount of up and down bonce when sitting with a load on it around 1/4 inch transmission is full and filter was changed in the spring of this year. Any ideals thanks

Are you sure it is full of hy-tran oil? Sounds to me like the pump is sucking some air.

Yes is full put extra in in to make sure that was my first though.

Hi, could be a sticking priority valve in the MCV. If tractor has remote hydraulic outlets, with nothing connected to the remote
outlets try dead heading the remote hydraulic by pulling the remote hydraulic lever until you can hear the relief valve buzz.
Sometimes this will shock the system enough to free a stuck priority valve.
PS do it at low about 1000 RPM.
