584 o rings

I have a 584 ih diesel which has a 2250 loader . The hose quick connects are leaking at the loader control assembly . Does anyone know thecorrect o ring part number ? Thanks

Don't know the number. thoiugh those are a pretty common o-ring and according to a neighbor the regular black o-rings don't last like the other one which is I think a quad ring looking affair.

If they are common "Pioneer/ISO-style" couplers the "industry standard number for the O-rings is "211".

Farm supply stores or implement dealers should have them.

They may have a "durometer rating", the higher the number the "harder" they are. You don't want real soft ones.

Hi Old, most likely your bucket cylinders require rebuilding, you can try switching the bucket and boom hydraulic connects at the valves and that will tell you if it is a leaking valve or the bucket cylinders.

You can buy a package at TratorSupply. Or,take an old one out and take it with you to any implement dealer. A lot of auto parts stores have O ring assortments to choose from.
