6' Offset Disk

Was searching through the local craigslist things for sale, and came across an add for a CASE 6' Offset Disk. Model Number on nameplate is - XRT 531011. Have never seen one like it, saw a 6' bog disk once while visiting Loren, but this appears to have both sides anchored with angle iron so it can't pivot, but does take a hydraulic cylinder to lift it. Tom, Loren, anyone else have info on it. Not in bad shape, looks useable.

Mike, did it look like this. If so it is a model 300.

That's exactly what it looks like, except someone has added angle iron on top, to hold it in a certain angled position. The angle iron can be taken off, as it's bolted through the frame work of disk. Asking price is 850.00 - I think that's high myself, but then this could be a less common seen item. Still wish I'd ask about that bog disk that day. Thanks for the help !

Loren, forgot to add that it's only 6' wide, 6 disc per gang. Looks like there is a lever that adjusts the angle of cut. Not sure if this statement is accurate, my opinion.

I have an XRT but mine does not have the hydraulic setup. It has a chain which goes to the drawbar circle of the tractor and raises the disk when the tractor turns; sorry I don't remember which way but it has bee about 7 years since I used it. I pulled it with a model S.

I have one like that that is in red, and yellow colors. Came with a D2 Cat citrus tractor. Pulls off to one side for orchard work. Has a crank on the back to lift manually. Something like 12" tires on it. Also have a John Deere that is almost exactly like it with hydraulics. Did the Case ones have Eagles casted into them? I have been told that some company in the deep South made them for many of the major manufacturers. Anything to it?

Check Craigslist - Evansville, Indiana. Located near Winslow, Contact Number - 812-630-8504. Asking 850.00, 4 pictures of unit, it does appear to have about 12" wheels on it too. Hope this helps.

They are not a Case made unit,, I will have to look I had lit that listed the mfg name,, I have seen two of them no Abes cast any where in them, I always assumed they were sold in other colors

Tom, did you look back on page 2 labeled:10th Annual Case Calendar, I think I have discovered a couple things for you!
