We finally got some rain on Thur July 5th, very local. 10 miles north or south got very little. The official nws amount at greater Pitt airport was less than an inch. Our rain gage is calibrated to 5.5 " and it was 3/4 of an inch above that at our place. Other areas nearby had anywhere from 2.5 to about 5". Surprisingly I had only minimal erosion on some of my slopes. My biggest concern now is did it wash away all my herbicide because for once in my life I had excellent weed control. I'd post some pictures but this dial up is too slow to load them onto photobucket.
