6 volt coil

My tractor is a 1952 8N after sr#263xxx, positive ground, 6 volt.
PROBLEM: When I cranked it Thursday it was very slow to crank/fire. Battery had just been charged. When I turned it off, it would not restart. Volts at the batter was 6.13, at the starter relay 6.12, at the negative side of the coil 6.113 on the positive (points side of the coil 0.12 and of course at the distributor 0.12. Does this point to a bad coil? I did not see any obvious cracks in it or the dist Cap. The tractor is 150 miles away so it will be anaother week or so before I am back.
Your assistance is always appreciated.

nothing I see says bad coil.. some stuff I see may say dirty points.

slow crank is a bad battery, cables, terminal endfs or starter.

"(points side of the coil 0.12 and of course at the distributor 0.12. " All the time? Or was it pulsing/alternating between battery voltage & 0.12v as the points opened & closed when cranking?

Bad coil not but maybe dirty or bad points. Since it is a side mount distributor the first ting I would do is take the cap off and rotor and open and close the points by hand with the key on. You should both see and hear the points spark. If you do not then the points need cleaned or replaced. As for slow cranking if you have the wrong battery cable on it that will cause that. You need battery cables that are 0 or 00 in size not the small auto type cables

Thanks for your input, I always look to you two fellas in your responses to others for information.
The battery cables are from this site about 3 years ago. I did clean the battery ends, now I will clean other ends and retighten. I did see spark at the points, but I will clean/and or replace. I did re-gap also.
I will take the battery for a test at a shop. The starter I never worked on, so I will read up on it.
Thanks again.

you said 0.12v on distributor side of coil.....constantly or all the time while cranking OR pulsating between battery voltage & 0.12??
