60 all fuel?

I have acquired a 60 with an all fuel hood. The carb and manifold are gas. Should I plug the hole for the gas tank, or buy another gas hood. It is a 54 with filler in the rear. Russ

Why would you want to fill in the hole? In my opinion the tractor would be more interesting left the way it is even with the gas carb and manifold. Don't destroy a piece of history.

Prepare that small tank to use as a "Reserve" tank..
You DO know that Tractors usually run out of gas at the wrong end of the field..!!!

Ron..

The problem is I don't have the small tank, 3 way valve etc. I question did they really make that many all fuel 60's. It still has the dealers sticker on the hood and has not been repainted. Thee is a hole in the dash for the fuel select rod.It may not be that easy to find the small tank.Russ

It may well be it was a Gasoline Only tractor from the factory...
ALL of that model had the place for the Fuel Selector Rod..

Ron..

if it had a replacement hood it would have had two holes and one cover for one hole replacement hoods were for all fuel and others only one was made for most models
