60 roll-o-matic

B n 60

New User
I have a 60 narrow front that i'd like to put a roll-o-matic on. Can anyone tell me what all it'd take to do this job? I'd imagine it couldn't be all to difficult... do i just have to buy the spindle?

I have taken the roll a matic off the spindle and replaced it with another one,but that requires a press and lots of heat, and luck

If you want fun, replace that pin that holds the top and bottom of the split pedestal R-O-M together. It's not even shown in the parts book, just a line of text at the bottom of the page.

It was a 50 ton press but I didnt use all of 50 ton.Mainly I heated the cast up and the shaft came out, what I had to watch for was getting the shaft lined up on the new roll a matic. I heated the new casting up and didnt have a lot of time to line it up after I pressed it in,once the casting heated the shaft up I doubt the 50 ton would move it.

I have a 60 & it had a 1 piece steering column,
with out roll matic, It went over somthing & I couln't hang on to the steering wheel & broke the
gear sector.
I went to a salvage yard & bought a 2 piece unite with PS & roolimatic works great, best thing i ever did. than your done with it.
