60 tranny fluid

Send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll send you a copy of the operators manual, if you promise to read it.
I use 80w-90 in my tractors and buy it in 5 gallon buckets. There is more to properly draining than there is to refilling, 3 drain plugs, 2 fill plugs, see page out of Op manual below;

alabamafrog,

Where do you find the best deal on 5 gallon buckets of 80W-90?
Do you "flush" the tranny and if so, what do you use?

Yeah what would you fush the tranny and all with. Mine had some water in it. I would think that just draining and refilling you would still have some water oil mix in there.

Kero is a good way to "flush" your tranny. Fill it up and take it for a couple laps around the barn, After such drain it out and it should remove alot of the sludge

However becuase you clean out the sludge some of the gaskets might start to leak just as a warning

You can get it form TSC or just about any auto parts store for around $55 a bucket.
I used Kerosene to flush mine.

I tried to send a copy of the manual to you but your email was too full to receive it. My PDF file is near 10meg. Let me know if you have another email address or when you clean out you other email and I’ll try to send it to you again.
