600 ford stalling

When it happens again get out of the seat and immediately check your spark. It could be a couple of things causing this but verify if you have spark.

With the lack of info on your part very hard to take a good guess as to the problem. Could be a bad ignition switch, bad coil, bad condenser, lack of fuel, loose wire, etc etc etc. More info helps us help you. How long does it run before it dies?? Do you still have a good blue/white spark that will jump a 1/4 inch gap when it dies??? Do you have fuel flow out of the drain plug at the bottom of the crab??? Etc etc etc

Sorry for lack of info, it seems to be getting plenty of fuel,It doesnt sputter like its running out of fuel its like you turn the key off when it dies. I replaced the points, condensor, cap and button about 2 weeks ago. A couple of time I sanded the points and it started back up but just ran for a minute or so then dies again. At first I was thinking vapor lock but wouldn"t it sputter? Now I"m thinking maybe the coil. Thanks for all replies

Clean and re gap the points and try it again. Mine did the same thing a week ago and finally quit and wouldn't restart. Point tune up fixed the problem.

Sounds like you got one of those new bad condensers so I would try the old one and see if that fixes the problem. Seems now days that about 50% of the new condensers are bad right out of the box and most of the time I don't even change them any more because of such problems

Ya the key to this was the fact he said he had to sand the points to make it work again and that is a sign of a bad condenser since the condenser is what keeps the points from burning fast

Exactly! I had suspected the condenser on mine right off the bat, but one look a the points told a different story. It's a crime the junk we are getting these days.
