600 hydraulics

my brother brought a 600 ford to me to get running and repair hyd. rewired it because his friend installed an altenator but didn't know how to wire it. So I installed the wiring harness pulled the hyd. plate freed all valves new piston o-ring and leather all new O-rings and gasket.
this tractor has a front blade with operating valve under seat. Blade worked and finally the rear arms started. Yesterday I took off the front blade unit and the rear hyd. went down and stayed I plugged the operating valve and still no working hyd. Any help would be thankful. I also bleed the hyd. pump and no leaks inside housing. Maybe I'll try Marvel Mistery Oil it helped the engine.

Don't know exactly what you have/had, but if front blade operated from the 600's side-of-the-engine-cam-driven pump, the valve generally diverted the 3 point hyd flow to the front blade. Now you need to defeat that diversion. Maybe as simple as moving a diverter valve, but I don't know what you have. Picture?

ditto what jmor sid.

show us a pic of how the hyds are plumbed. you may be defeating the onboard hyd valving depending on where you pick up oil and return it.

the hyd valve in question is mounted where the blocking plate would be it is a ford product for external operations it shouldn't affect the rear arms and it they have been working for the last 2 weeks since I went through the repair I'll get a picture later today thanks for the thoughts

If you have a remote valve the handle has to be in the neutral position or the three point will not work. If you have a Selec Trol valve, the knob has to be in the proper position (in or out) for the three point to work.

a selectrol or remote valve on the 3x5 option cover most certaintly interacts with the hyds for the 3pt.

it either redirects flow out to another valve, like as in a selectro setup.. or it temporarily interupts the flow out to a cyl as in the case of a SCV.

It is a remote and self centering and I've worked it to make sure it is centered. My brother owns this tractor and he say some times it worked and some times it didn't all though the front blade worked allways screwey huh

does that remote directly run the front blade.. or does that remote run fluid to another valve?

In any case. if the front blade works with that remote, but the rear 3pt doesn't always, and there is no other return path of the oil, then i'd be getting ready to pull the top cover.
