6000 Battery

Need a battery for my 6000 diesel. Parts book calls for a F110 battery. Local NH dealer can't come up with anything that crosses. Does anyone here know the group size on that battery? Local NAPA dealer is struggling with this as well.

Thanks

The battery photo in the Commander 6000 operator manual I have shows what looks like a group 27 or 30 straight twelve volt battery. Definitely not the 4DLT. Specs call it a 135 amp hour battery for diesel use.

General dimension requirements are 15.5" long x 7" wide x 11" tall.

Group 30 & 31 batteries are only 13" long. I could make a group 31 work if I have to, but I'd rather have the correct factory size if at all possible.

Thanks for finding that for me! That said, I looked up the specs for a group size 16TF (link below) and it's one inch too long. My battery tray is only 15.5" between the hold down studs. UNLESS it's longer on the top than it is on the bottom?

I'll have my NAPA guy look into this tomorrow. Thanks again.
16TF battery

Bigger than a group 31 but the spec's are much less. Doesn't make sense. Couldn't find the weight in your link but the group 31 commercial I used from O'Riley's in my 851 D is 56 lbs. That one might be heavier.

I'm restoring this tractor, so I'm striving for originality, as well as having something that fits nicely in the battery tray and can be bolted down without a lot of modifications.
