You will be splitting it to fix the flywheel before it eats the starter gear.. but if that's all that wrong.. 1720$ and a day of sweat equity will get you a decent workhorse tractor.

I'd buy that tractor instantly and drive it off down the road a ways in case somebody else showed up while I was running after a trailer. A Workmaster in that condition is worth TWICE that here even in this economy.

Well, I talked to my wife and she's talked me out of it. Too many projects right now. Hopefully one of the good folks on this board can pick it up in Denton, TX (on the Oklahoma boarder North of Dallas).

BTW, he's giving you your choice between an 8N and a 601 Workmaster for $1700. Not much of a decision...

Richard is this 601 Ford gas or diesel? I have a 601 that is diesel. They are workhorses.
