602 three point

Found a nice 602 got it home and the three point goes down even with the engine running. Do I need to adjust three point valve or does the piston need O rings.

Are all the hydraulic levers in the same place (across from each other)?

One remote has hoses and does work. The three point lever snaps back when the three point is all the way up. Then the three point starts settling.

Something you could try is move the lever to the up position by hand and they dont let it snap back but just move it to that position and then see if the arms stay up. My M670 would snap so hard sometimes it went right back to lowering position.

Funny story my uncle would talk about was it "snapping back" while turning around on the road with a chisel plow! Uh oh!
