6105D code 101.16

I have 2014 JD 6105D that throws an engine code 101.16 that means Crankcase pressure high. Check blow-by filter.

I changed the blow-by filter at 700 hours because of the same issue. According to the manual, the blow-by filter should be replaced at 1500 hours.

Since I doubt the blow-by filter is clogged, I disconnected the hose that connects the engine to the blow-by filter - I still get the code 101.16.

Would it be possible that the pressure sensor is giving incorrect information, or could it be another reason for this code?

Are there any other ECU codes stored or active??

Since the filter is disconnected can you actually feel air coming out of the breather?? No other kinks or other obstructions?? Main reason I ask this is I've seen it on a 13.5 engine where the breather baffle in the valve cover was made wrong and didn't allow air out the breather.

Replacing the sensor RE575415 (about $94) could solve the problem. Usually you can find the part number on the sensor somewhere to verify the part number. It might say RE548703 because at some point they changed the part number. Just an FYI whenever they list a part number and in the notes it says "SUB for ......." it can mean they had problems with that part so they improved the part and changed the number. Sensor is located on the RH side of the engine block right above the "JD 4045" casting. Not sure how involved its gonna be getting to the sensor because stuff is usually packed pretty tight on these things.

Looking through the diagnostic procedure for that code it could be one of a handful of things. To "correctly" diagnose the wiring requires a special control box that applies power through the circuit. There's also the possibility it may only need ECU software updated. From there it comes down to doing a bunch of exhaust system checks and blowby tests (which is more than what you're gonna wanna deal with).

This is the only active code. I need to check the stored codes and will report back.

I did not feel any air coming out of the breather. I need to check this again, but that would mean the check valve is stuck closed. If indeed the check valve gets stuck, that would explain why the check light goes
away after 15, 20 minutes; but this would imply that pressure has to increase enough to push it open. This is bad news for the seals, however.

I then opened the engine oil dipstick and oil started splashing out a bit. The code, however, was not erased. Maybe it has to be running for longer before the code is erased.

It does not seem that it is difficult to get to the pressure sensor. I do not know, however, how to remove the connector to the sensor. These connectors are quite fancy... Any advice on how to remove it would
help me.

I checked the hose that goes between the check valve and the filter and it seems okay (it goes between the engine block and the starter, but it seems okay).
