620 broken exhaust mount

took front hood cap off to clean radatior notice crack in exhaust brace pulled hit a little and pop off now need s radatior top

Those tops are pretty pricey. They can be welded on back on, I welded one on a 630. JD's cast seems to weld good. There were also repair kits advertised with a bracket that bolts it together.

If that dont work Im going to part out a 620 but dont know where you live as far as freight,may e better off to try to fix,your choose

I welded mine on my 60 10 years ago. I used nickle rod an welded it on the tractor. Nickle rod is easy to weld with.

I cant remember who, but someone advertises a repair kit for your top tank. It's supposed to be stronger than the original.

Welded my 620 while still on the tractor 20 years ago and still holding. Used a nickel rod. Not so pretty but hood covers it anyway and it is a work tractor.

Welded the one on my 630 at least 30 years ago with plain old 6011, peening as I went, and thousands of loader use hours later it hasn't fallen off. Jim

I have had welding shops tell me that Deere cast is a very high quality and welds good.Maybe because they melted their own they had better quality control.
