hang with me on this long story..Thxs. Got a 620Jd and it was froze up. Rebuilt the whole motor and got it all together. Have all the timing marks set by the book. V on V's on crank, and on camshaft ect. Even pulled back apart to check. But still no start. Check lp reg. gas comming out middle hole when pressed in. So i assume lp getting to reg and going into chamber at least. But I am worried more about timeing. Book shows cam and crank v's are seen by looking into the inside of motor. Have timing mark on crank from the inside, but cam mark is on the outside. have to pull flywheel to bearing cap to see it. didnt have cam out so gear is the same as before i started on it. i have been trying to get this started for 3 weeks now, with no luck. It cranks over fine, checked fire and it is nice and blue, 12v system. First time working on a 2 cylinder tractor, but about to throw up my hands on this one. Dont know what i have done wrong, any answers,or questions please ask, i am open to hearing anything right now. Thanks Mikel

Cam gear has timing marks on both sides of gear. The mark on the inside (looking through cover plate hole) is used to time crank to cam. The timing mark on the outside of cam gear is used to time cam to governor gear. Hope this helps DW

Do you have the air filter cup on and filled with oil?It will not move the regulator diaphram if you dont.Fuel coming out of the middle hole?That is where the primer solenoid goes or am I misunderstanding?

Check to see if you have oil in the air cleaner. If tractor has a over head air intake pour about 1/4 cup of gasoline in the over head tube and see if will fire off. If it does then you regulator may not be set right. the diapharm may have a hole in it also, the diapharm setting is 5/16 inch, this can be measured with a straigh edge layiny across the edge press diapharm down and ajust screw.

Ok, u have brought daylight to my problem. I have been looking at one timing mark only, so that is my problem. Will start tearing back down to change the the timing tomorrow. I still dont know how i missed it, even had soninlaw look in there while i turned it before and he said he didnt see anything but i will find it now.
