630 Case Diesel Tractor

Does anyone know of a salvage yard or anyone who might have parts like radiator or side shield panel and a few other parts for a 1960 Case diesel tractor model 630.Having a hard time finding them....is this old tractor rare or why is it parts are hard to come by ?

Many of the parts for a 630 are interchangeable with 530s of the same vintage and same configuration. The exception of course are those parts that are necessary for the 36" rear tires on the 630 (General Purpose) verses the 28" on the 530 (General Purpose). So, wheels, rims, fenders, eagle hitch components, drawbars, etc are different. Tin on the 530 & 630 diesel tractors and the 630 gas should be the same. Radiators for the 530 & 630 dry clutch models are the same. The parts manuals show a different number for radiator in 530 & 630 Case-o-matic tractors. I would wager they interchange, but the numbers are different.

The point is, expand your search to include 530 tractors where appropriate.

Thats the good news. The bad news is there are a number of changes that were made to the 530s & 630s during the 4 year production run of the 630. There are four different power steering systems, two different throttle assemblies, two different fuel filter systems, two different cluster gauges, at least three different dry clutch assemblies, two different types of hydraulic levers, etc.

There were a total of 4504 (1841 Spark ignition & 2663 diesel) 630s made in the 4 year production run. That would be considered rare if they were Farmalls or John Deeres, but that volume is not considered rare for a Case. The problem is there are many different 630s... There were many variants and many changes during the production run. There are several people that frequent this forum that run salvage operations. I'm sure one or more will reach out to you.
