I had 8 nuts off and didnt see the two under the rocker arm assy. Saw the white corrosion from the lead washers and suspected studs were rusted to the head which is why I tried to force it... Thanks for all who helped and those that just need to run the mouth and put me down for my lack of experience (which is most) well you know what you can do.
Anyone have a good source for the lead washers and copper gasket for the head as well as a good complete gasket set?

Try this https://jdparts.deere.com/servlet/com.deere.u90.jdparts.view.publicservlets.HomeUnsigned

You did say 6 in the other post, might have been
a typo. My Napa store failed on finding a head
gasket for our 630, So I went to Deere cost
around 180.00 for a kit that includes about
every gasket you need for a R & R cylinder. I
know a 730 Diesel one can purchase a complete
engine overhaul cheaper than a Head gasket kit.
Check with Deere & Price both.. I also use a
Permatex Copper spray on the gasket befor you
install it, both sides...

Please take no offence what we say, we've all
been there.. Forest Gump said stupid is what
stupid does..

Deere usually offers 2 sets. 1 is for cyl. head replacement only and the other for head and block.
They are listed in the rear of the parts books.

Checked two days ago on the complete set and it was $245 while the head set was $120. I bought the head set and a block gasket for $26.25.
