I have a 630 John Deere. I have thought about adding an air stack to it.

Is this a major undertaking?

Give me your thoughts.

Thanks.

Take off front radiator screen hood. Loosen and pull off front horizontal air intake tube. Knock out the hood indent area for the vertical air stack. The parts book PC 528, shows your air stack-AR20668R and stack parts AR20857R. Should be able to install through hole in hood.

Bob : I've done several , pretty straight forward job. study parts page cat. 528 jd parts ; make sure you have all parts, spacer used on 630 ; gaskets etc.. Cautions are getting baffle [JD calls tube] in correct ; So air is drawn from stack not tube in front of rad.. which U can leave on !.. Careful taking plate out of hood ; a hammer a chisel will do damage!! Use a small grinder ; carefully to weaken welds,....

Taylor Equipment, Sears, Mi. 800-368-3276. Will have most of the parts you'll need. He'll have the Air Tube Cleaner Bracket P/N AA6758R thats hard to come by. hope this is some help, john
