631 proofmeter

my 631 did not come with a proofmeter so I am wanting to install one my problem is the drive adaptor and bushing. My pump has a plug in the end and I have found no listing for the parts needed to hook up the cable. any help out there Thanks

You may have to buy a complete pump with the proofmeter drive in order to get the parts you need. Then you can sell your pump with no drive in order to recover some of your money.

that isn't a reasonable idea but thanks anyway maybe some one has these parts lying around or I may be able to get them from a tractor grave yard if I could find one I live in north central WV

Seemed reasonable to me. If you spend enough time looking for just the tach drive parts and come up empty, maybe it will sound reasonable to you too.

That is a very reasonable idea. I expect that Texas! had a used one in mind even though he didn't say it. And what Texas! told you is exactly what you will end up doing.

I bought a pump proofmeter adapter for an 841 a couple years back at an old Ford tractor place in upstate New York. Hope this helps!!(315)923-7613

I was looking for one also. I could find the tach drive but not the bushing that you also needed soooo I gave up putting on a proofmeter. So buying one that already has it may be the ticket.

WELL went to the barber today and guess what, he got me in touch with a fellow who happened to have an old hyd. pump and he sold me the parts I needed for $25 now I just ordered a tack and cable from Southern machine. So in a few days I'll be ready to drill and cut the dash. Now don't that beat all
