Well, after disassembly and reassembly of the throttle linkage under the fuel tank of my 631 in preparation of paint, I've managed to screw something up. Not that I'm too surprised, even though I was careful to reinstall everything the way it came apart, or so I thought.
Here's what is happening: the throttle almost seems to slip back to idle as I throttle up. It then goes to low idle, regardless of throttle lever position. I can move the lever back to low idle, against some resistance, and then it will work for a little bit before doing the same thing again. And the foot throttle only seems to work to half throttle. Any idea what I managed to do wrong? Will post pictures in the morning when the light is better.
Any help for this Case beginner would be much appreciated.
