641 terminal block

The terminal block on my '61 Workmaster 641 has basically corroded & is coming apart. I'm finding what I guess is the generic new version of this everywhere (ebay, allstate, steiner, etc...) Anyone know if it matters or if an original is available somewhere?

I assume you're talking about #18 on the diagram 8NNN-14448-A. I see no reason the generic wouldn't work. I searched Ebay and filtered for used (ie. original) and didn't find any.

All it is is two sets of wire connections isolated from each other and from ground. The key switch connects one side to the other. You could just as easily connect one set of wires from one side to one key switch terminal and the other set of wires to the other key switch terminal. Electrons don't care what the device looks like on the outside, just which is the easiest path to get where the voltage is telling the electrons to go.
