648 round baler

I ended up buying the New Holland baler. Hooking up the bale command plus monitor. 2 power wires, red and black. Which one is battery and which is ground?

I'd certainly expect red to be positive 12V and black to be ground.

Doesn't one have a fusible link in it? My Gehl does. That one would be the hot wire.

Red should be +
Black -

The + wire should have an auto reset circuit breaker on it.
