656 hydro update

I was out of town for a few days but did make some progress on the tractor before I left.

I removed and the relief valves and found a small chunk of dirt in the orifice. After putting it back together now it will move in reverse only with lever input of forward or reverse. Its also slow to build up pressure and move.

Anyways book says look for plugged pump servo fixed orifice. Where is this orifice?

If i understand correctly from what i found in the book, I am after the orifice that is inside the servo that controls the pump correct? I have to remove the servo and disassemble it?

This tractor when I got it did not have the relief valve in the end of the filter. Therefore no filtering and explains what I found in the relief valve and about to find in the servo orifice.

Yep, pull the servo and you'll most likely find your issue.

Does your tractor have the additional spin on external filter? They were not on the early tractors but there was a kit to add them.
