As usual, these workers get crapped on. I grew up in Colorado, and saw guys like this every day when getting bean loads in Northern Colorado. Worked hard, got paid little. Head of the local cattle association is a liar.

The stupidity is................. It pays to take care of these people. It's through them that the virus will find its way into the general population. They will be vectors.

Which "lies" specifically? Presumably you are referring to changing guidance as more was learned about the C over time? That is not "lies". I followed the C data closely daily from multiple global sources including the CDC and generally agreed with the guidance that was issued each step of the way as it was the most reasonable given what was known at the time.

Perhaps you are referring to the "masks don't work" babble from the kooks which is itself a lie. The reality was more like "reduced 25%" which was pretty damned significant over a population of ~330M. Or the "V don't work" lies from the same sources when the data clearly showed they worked pretty well and my own experience and observation of my friends and family also mirrored the data quite well.

I have both cattle as well as myself and my family to be concerned about, so I am monitoring this bird flu situation to see what impact it is likely to have and what steps I can reasonably take to mitigate any impact.

I think you should have a bigger concern when the virus is spread from human to human. They didn't think the last virus couldn't spread human to human until it did.
No idea if anyone is thinking of a bird flu vac,
It could be nothing or it could be worse. Who knows?

I would think once it was seen that humans were catching it there would be initial thoughts of V, and now with a "severe" human case that is likely turning into research efforts particularly since the m R N A V is noted to be faster and easier to produce.

Difficult to say at this point, but a human severe case indicates we should have a greater level of concern and pay attention to updates to see if the case is a one-off, if more sever cases appear, h-h spread, etc.
