660 power

Any thoughts on a 660 lifting and pulling this 2 row AC no till planter in sandy loam. Tool bars are 3.5-4" stock.

I've had a couple similar AC planters, except they didn't have the double frame or no-till coulters. My Jubilee lifted them with no problem. Weight-wise, I think you'd be OK, except that the double frame puts the weight farther back. Do you have something on the front for weight? Will probably need it.
You should be OK for h.p. My Grandpa used the Jubilee for years to pull a 4-row clutch lift JD planter in heavy clay/loam, so a 660 should pull a 2 row no till in your soil.

Fordfarmer - No weight up front but a bumper. How many pounds do you think I'd need up there? Are parts available for these units?

I agree that you will need weight up front. Wheel weights inside the tires would help.
Make the attachment as close to the end of the 3pt balls as possible.
Do not even think about fertilizer. Unless you put it on the tractor itself. ( A tank on the front/side and pto pump for liquid??)

A bumper helps a little. If you could hang a couple suitcase weights on it, or find a set of wheel weights, I think you'd be good to go. 2-300 pounds on front should counter just about anything the 3-point can lift.
As far as parts, I don't know if new parts are available or not. I suppose a guy could poke around on Agco's website and find out. Used parts show up on ebay from time to time, and I've been able to find a few used 4 row planters cheap at auctions. I did buy new flat chain idlers from Shoup's and sealed bearings from my local Car Quest. Idlers were the same brand as original.
I sold the two pictured, and have two more row units I intend to build into a planter before spring. I take it the one in the picture you posted is for sale? Mind if I ask how much?

I did not go inside and ask but the was a matched tool bar with 3 units for $1395 so probably $1195. I've horse traded several pieces with this guy and he'll work with an offer.

I have a 50 gal. Femco sprayer. I'm sure someone has rigged one like it to hang off the front of the tractor both for weight and function?
