661 3pt adjustment HELP!

I'm at my witts end. I purchased an IT manual that references adjusting the linkages on the 3pt position and draft control with use of SPECIAL TOOLS. These tools are a unicorn. Next I found the ZANE THANG adjustment kit only to learn he passed away 2 years ago. WTF is a guy to do now? I hoped, I poked, I'm out of rope.

Please Help!!

The FO-20, I&T manual gives instructions on how to adjust w/o the special tools.....or you can make a 'special tool' with a chunk of bar stock, grinder, calipers.

I quit making the adjustment on the table it seamed I was always off a tad : ( I spec because I could not get the lift arms positioned correctly.. What I do now its easy as pie...

I use a engine crane to remove and install the lift cover I hang the lift cover on the crane read to install. I make sure the control valve is pushed all the in and comes all the way out to the stop. I then make the adjuster a little long by a few turns. You can see and feel with the quadrant when the control valve bottoms out adjust to satisfaction. I set the cover on the tractor install the bolts around the oil feed port start the tractor and check lift performance. If I have to make draft control adjustment I use shims on the draft plunger that you should have freed up while the lift cover was being serviced. If the cover has to come back off for a tweek undo the two bolts lift the cover up and tweek the linkage...

The mission.... The lift arms lower to with-end 8" of the ground, the lift arms rise all the way up (adjustment is in the control valve linkage). The draft control functions (adjustment made with external shims) that's all there is to it get that in you head life will be good...

I wrote down the measurement for the washer don't know what I did with them... I think 5/8" I.D. Gap 1/4" no more than 3/16 thick you may need only 1/16" you have to play with it, it only tales minuets to swap them put...

Its easier than it sounds...

Lynn is thinking 9N/2N and not the adjustment jig that you are looking for....totally different critters.

This is a learning curve for sure. Out of pure frustration, I'm going to provide the I&T information that nobody else has. Literally absolutely no where to be found on google. Hopefully it will keep future people from tearing their hair out for such a simple, yet extremely important procedure.

Draft control (top two pix) needs to be first adjusted, then position control (bottom pic) can be adjusted.

Straight from the illusive I&T SHOP MANUAL FO-20!
