I have rewired the tractor, except, I can't find the neutral safety switch or the oil sending unit for those wires. the wiring diagram is useful for location & there aren't pictures in the service manual. THANK YOU!

The safety switch on the M670 Supers is just in front of the shift lever on the top cover if that is what you are referring to. The oil sending unit is on the left rear side of the engine.

is it possible this electronic was removed in favor of the small vacuum line?

Shawn, if that small copper line goes to your oil pressure gauge, check at the back of the gauge for the electrical connections. The oil pressure switch may have been removed. The other line you show in your first photo looks like a tachometer drive, and probably goes to the back side of the tach/speedometer. I don't know this tractor at all, but it does not look like you have a neutral safety switch where Alan K is describing. Look all over the top and sides of the transmission housing. steve

Is it in the shift cover, hidden from view over the side of what we can see in your photo? Between the cover and what looks like the lower part of the dash panel. steve
here is back & other side. when did they add the safety switch? could 1969 be pre safety switch?

on the pedal! got it.
Yes, a 1969 model would have it on the clutch. My M670 Super is a 1966. If you have a mechanical oil gauge that is where the copper tube would go to. My M670 Super has the electric oil sender where that copper tube is plumbed into on the engine.

1968-9 U302 670 900 1000 had neutral safety on clutch. Also had the white faced electroluminest gauges run by a power supply mounted to back of dash. Dash lights glow blue. Gauge lights all connected in parallel to power supply. All gauges electric so oil line been added.
