671 park switch

If your tractor has not been converted to 12V, the "ground" side of the solenoid goes to the start button. The other side of the start button goes to the Park switch.

If your tractor has been converted to 12V, anything goes.

(quoted from post at 12:58:45 11/27/12) I have a Ford shop manual FO20. It does not have a wiring diagram for a sos tranny.

F020 is an IT manual. A genuine Ford manual would be much more detailed, but I doubt even it would contain the wiring info you're looking for.

The park safety switch (located inside the transmission) is grounded to chassis by metal to metal contact via a small copper strip bolted to one terminal on the switch. A wire runs from the other terminal on this switch to the starter button. A wire runs from the starter button to the small S terminal on the starter solenoid. A wire also runs from the switched side of the terminal block up under the dash to the small I terminal on the solenoid.
