70 Rockshaft won't lower

Trying to get this 70 set up to pull a mounted plow, put on a Titan 3 point and figured out some chains to regulate depth control.

Now the problem is now that I'm trying to adjust the throttling valve I think I bottomed it out (not reading all of the notes that says not too). Now what? I ran it back out and in and out 2 turns like the book suggests.
Plow is mounted and in raised position and I don't know what direction to go now. I've bounced the plow up and down thinking it may pop back out but I'm pretty sure I just look silly. The I&T doesn't give an alternative.

Still needing help here guys. I have a plow Hanging in the air and don't know how to lower it. From what I read gravity is supposed to take it down. Up will draw the motor down- down doesn't seem to effect anything.

What is associated with this throttling valve that it may not allow 3 point to lower?

The operators manual says something about a screw on the powertrol that you turn in or out to use the rockshaft or the remote cylinder. Check your manual but I think it's on the left side.

The metering screw is on the left for the raise, throttling screw is on the bottom for fast lower. Book says to adjust this with a load on. Everything was working ok until I replaced this screw and washer/gasket. Even tried to put the old one back in an no change. (The screw is a 1.5 inch setscrew). I need more info on this throttling valve.

Reviewed the [b:654c4848f0]Hydraulic Equipment SERVICE MANUAL John Deere Waterloo Works SM-2011 (Dec-52)[/b:654c4848f0] under the [b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]OPERATION Fast Lower[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0] topic on page 20-15-9.

Woodruff key in control shaft sheared. Replace.
Interference of implement. Correct.[/b:654c4848f0]"

You might consider inspecting the lower check valve.

Take a look at the diagram below.

Note the check valve ball (Key 37), metering check valve shaft (Key 38), and check valve (Key 39).

Issue solved.

Got ahold of Gary from macfabrications.com, wonderful guy, found out that I just wasn't screwing the throttling valve in far enough. Due to the load being in the air it took more force to defeat the check spring. I&amp;T book said not to bottom out the valve is the reason I didn't put that much on it.

This place I called rebuilds these things, website shows lots of test stations and such. Very quick to call me back.
