700 carb

have a 700 with marvel carb. needle valve staying stuck in. float falls down but needle valve does not. needle valve is nitril tipped. this is not the kind with clip on needle. how do i fix this problem?

this is usually because the port it travels in is dirty causing it to hang.. pull the needle, clean with a qtip and carb cleaner.. then use another and some cleaner in the port the needle travels in.. shouldn't stick after that.. if it does.. look at it to see if it's coroded or damaged.. etc..

needle and seat are both new replaced for same reason. can a needle with clip be used in this carb? it is the small bowl carb
