700 Case diesel filters

The first filter fills with diesel but the second one does not. Why doesn't it flow to the second filter when bleeding? Any ideas?

A person needs the tank fairly full of diesel. Then I just use a blow gun with a rag and give it some air into the tank. Always works for me. Just not too much just some short blasts. Do u have 3 filters on there ? It’s usually that final filter at the top
On front of engine that’s the buggar.

I would expect there is a bleeder for each filter and if it is not open it will be difficult to bleed out. Also depending on the filter height and the level of the fuel in the tank it might not flow without a bit of help or more fuel in tank.

yes there is bleeders for each filter , but i would think the OP would know this. bleeding starts from the tank and follow the fuel flow and bleed each filter accordingly. nothing hard . we are not getting good info here for a good answer. everyone seams to think the ones answering posts are gods, but no it takes info info and more info for a good reply. i hate guessing.

Some background on such as this can help. Looking back at your previous threads, in 2022 you asked about bleeding a 700 case. Is this the same tractor? Did you get it bled out and started 3 years ago or did it get set aside (such does happen)? Your second thread was about getting "the Bio black tar out of the bottom of the fuel tank." Is this the same tractor? If so, did you get it cleaned out?

I didn't see any follow up on either of these threads from you as to whether or not the issues were solved, and the tractor was running. That is why I bring them up. Just trying to figure out if it has been setting since then or is a different tractor.
