7000 series question

Hello there, i didnt realize this but was talking to neighbor who has a lot of john deeres, asked about transmissions, he told me that in the 7000 series when you get to the 7700 the frame size is bigger, is that so?

Actually the 7600, 7700 and 7800 are the mid frame models Even though the 7600 has a 6.8 engine. . The 7200 and 7400 are considered the small frame models. When you get to ten series the small frame models are the 72, 74 and 7510. The mid frame are 76, 77 and 7810 mid frame. Large frame tractors would be 8000 series tractors. DW
