7020 problem

I had tractor out tonight trying to figure out my noise in tractor and I have a better way to describe sound it is making when letting out clutch to move tractor. The noise is like if tractor had a parking brake and you forgot to release it before moveing it,but tractor moves in either direction freely.I have correct amount of free travel in clutch pedal and have not lost any travel since I have been working ground with it.I also have had it on my dyno and have no clutch slippage.I can hear noise excellent in cab but very faint from outside of cab. After taking off noise is gone.If it was not making this sound everything is 100% normal.Thank for your help.

Some times you need to let things like this "progress" for a while till it becomes more"pronounced",,,

Well I worked 70 more acres tonight and its still the same.Maybe it is the nature of the beast.I put so much time in to making tractor as good as could be,didn't want something I could prevent causing big problems!I grew up on 3020 side counsel and ran 4440 since it was new and restored 4020 side counsel and I know all them and especialy the 20 series make differant sounds that are normal, but this has me baffeled. It is the first time for me in an old 4wd and it is way different than our 8960.Thanks for the reply Tim.

They are noisy,,that's for sure,,run one all day and you can't hear yourself fart at the end of the day...
