706 eng change from combine

Want to rebuild carb on 706 farmall . Guy I bought it from said eng is not org it came from a combine. Would the carb be the same as a 706. If not where would I find numbers to get right parts. Thanks

There SHOULD BE a brass tag riveted onto the body somewhere.The tag will have the model number.

Clean the metal strip under the cap screw in the second picture, that might have the numbers
