I know it's been discussed that these tractors need higher octane fuel. I
have a choice 92 octane non ethanol or 93 with 10% ethanol. Which one is
best?:-)

I'm a corn farmer, and I would go with nonethanol.Ethanol is nasty crap.OK if you burn it right away, just don't let it sit a while between uses
Don't let it get 'old'.

Thanks for your thoughts going with the non ethanol probably won't see a lot of use, use it to mow roadsides with a sickle mower and a little back blading and a tractor ride.

Ethanol has a high level of octane, 113, so fuel suppliers use it to spike poor quality fuel, allowing them to sell it as high test or premium fuel, at premium price.

92 no octane, you are getting actual 92 octane gasoline.

93 10% ethanol, you are getting something like 90% 85 octane garbage gasoline and 10% 113 octane to make it look like the good stuff.

THAT is the true issue with ethanol. Ethanol isn't causing the problems, the garbage gasoline that many fuel suppliers put in with it is the problem.
