Ok I have a 706 with the 282d the pump will leak all the fuel out and drip while running. I picked up a pump off a 560 w/282d it is a little different will it still work and how do I time it

yes it will work , BUT BUT, it will only be running at 1800 rpm. the 706 will be up around 2400 like the 660 where is it leaking? the
throttle pump shaft seals? those can be replaced cheaply. timing instructions later when i have time to type and when u decide what to do.

Just looking to have tractor running with minimal down time. If I can turn rpms up a bit. Will need a cable for shut off. It started at throttle just a drip now leaks possible at the rotor.

Just shut it off at the pump. U need to cool engine down anyhow. Then walk up to it and shut er down. Timing in morning.

Where's your I.P. leaking?

Seal kits are CHEAP and can be installed in a couple of hours IF you can keep things clean and pay attention to detail.

LOTS of vids on Ewetoob.

The 706 runs faster and has a SPEED ADVANCE pump. The 560 has a LOAD ADVANCE pump. Your 560 pump is a very early one with the bolt on advance block that are sometimes
prone to leaking. Unless the 560 pump came from a RUNNING engine it might not work anyway due to stuck internal parts from old stale fuel.

Is the pump for a 460 the same as on the 560? The pump on my 460 leaks and I need to do something about it. Just dont know what. Thoughts?
