Looking to replace 6.50-16 f2 tires on 706 has any one put diff than this on there 706 was thinking a wider tire might help flotation looking for sugestion

So you going to buy new or differant rims, get the rim so you can use your old pickup tires,on it, that way u will have a steady supply of tires!!

Just go with 750x16 tires. Is all you need. 16 “ truck tires are really scarce very hard to find.

Lots of possibilities. On your old rims 7x50 is about as bid g as you can go. However if you dont mind buying rims, you can go with9.5x15. That's a nice size. Wider, looks good and not too tall. Or 10x16. They are taller, work better with18.4x34 or 16.9x38.My '7' had 9.5L15/15.5x38. Later put on 16.9x38 and 10:00x16. It sits level and looks like a bigger tractor. :)

Yes, not many pickup trucks come with 16" tires anymore. Most come with 17's, 18's and even 20's.

I agree 7.50x16 is about as wide as you can go on the current rims without the tire rubbing on the front end.

An inch or two is not going to appreciably help flotation. Even double width isn't going to help. You would need mini-Terragator tires about 24" wide to get the front end to "float" on mud. All the wider tires will do is make it harder to cut through the wet spots.
