7100 bean cups

I have a new to me 7100 6 row mounted planter

Is this correct? Is this what bean cups are supposed to look like? Is this complete?

Thank you!

Different cups for various beans. Soybeans and red kidney beans require different cups for example. The cups have numbers stamped into them which can be checked against your owners manual to know what you have.

Not complete. Plate A24641 looks to be missing. Click here to see the parts breakdown. What you have looks like a soybean feed cup. A little worn, but not bad.

The feed cup meters have fallen out of favor in recent years, but a heckuva lot of beans were planted with them back in the day.

Thank you for your comments! I also got these parts with my 7100, but I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember what they are for? Is this an aftermarket bean cup/brushes? I don't see a brand name on them.

The first picture shows the bean plate which can be removed for different size beans. The other picture is the housing for it. Looks the same as a Kinze unit I had.

The meter with the wing nuts is a Kinze unit. They accurately meter beans one at a time versus the steady dribble from the factory Deere cups. The kinze unit bolts to the bottom of the seed box using the same bolts as Deere corn or bean unit. The Kinze has 60 cells where the Deere corn unit has twelve fingers. That way the Kinze plants five times the population of the Deere corn meter.
