720 transmission oil level

I just bought a 720 diesel and I want to check the oil level in the transmission. I ordered a operators manual but have not received it yet. Where do I check the level? Thanks for your help.

under the left brake sitting on tractor and behind flywheel cover there should be a 9/16 plug bolt when it runs out there its full. and I could be wrong,but dont think so

Sounds right to me. I think the casting may even say oil level on it. The bolt will have an alum. washer under the head for the gasket. This will help identify you have the right spot.
