720LP advice

Looked at 720LP this weekend. Looks like an older repaint with straight metal, NF, no 3pt. Lots of tread on rear tires, fronts not so much. Seems to start and run well. Never had an LP before, any areas I should look extra close at? Any estimates on value would be appreciated (in Kentucky). Thanks.

Any coolant leaks around the regulator-vaporizor? That would be the one thing I would check first. Those Century units can be rebuilt but they can be tricky when they go to leaking.

Good tractor. I use mine as one of my work horses. The three point is a must have. You may want to ask the owner where it is, or you go price a three point with a center link. Three point on a tractor is a major part of the tractor.

You say no 3 pt.
Make very sure it has the place to hook a center link in the center of the rockshaft housing so you can add one or DEDUCT alot from the price or walk away if you really need a 3pt.
Not all of then had this option added when bought new.

Thanks for the help so far. Do you guys find these to be lacking in power/torque compared to the gas models as I have read in a few places?

i have a 520 lp and i pull a 8 foot semi mount cutter with it.... lp is the way to go
the vapor valves usually need rebuilding on these because if they leak it can be dangerous..... kits are avaliable from davenport tractor for 50$ and take ten minutes to put in.... i also just bought a 730 lp and cant wait to use it as my workhorse and let the 520 do light work as intended.
