730 engine weight

Recently acquired a gas 730 and I am going to split it. I have a 1 ton overhead hoist that I have used to split ford utility tractors and pulled big block motors with (I beam with rollers). Trying to figure out if I remove the font wheels and bolster from the engine, what the engine alone would weigh. Just a WAG, I am thinking 1800 - 2000 lbs.

I would say half that or less, just an educated guess. The 504 bare block from my 1370 weighed 597 on our scale, just some guesses on the rest but I’d say 150 on the crank, 50 on the rods, 50 each for the heads, and 100 for a flywheel. Add a few more for smaller parts etc. Take 2/3 that for a 4 cyl and I’d guess you’re around 7-800 maybe? Does a 730 have a cast oil pan?
