Morning all! I'm looking for newer type stabilizer bars for my tractor and cant seem to find one that will work for the 29" length I need.

Has anyone swapped theirs out, and where did you find them?

Do you think swapping out the stabilizer brackets with the pin directly under the axle for a swept back pin hole bracket would work if I went with the 27 1/2" bars?

Looking at

Thanks!

The stabilizer mount pins have to line up with lift arm mounts. Dont remember if SUs have flex links or not. There is a strap/flat bar stabilizer used on them that hooks to lift arm not impliment pin. They
can be found on NH parts site.

If your wanting the newer style extendable box type stabilizer bars, on this site look in the 4610 hitch section, 12th item down from the top. $60 each is a bit pricy.
These will fit your brackets but you may have the drill the lift arms.
I put a set of the longer ones on a 5600 that work well, not quite as good as the factory 3930 extendable stabilizers I picked up or the ones that came on my 6610 but still better than messing with the flat bars.
I have another tractor with the chain and turn buckle style stabilizers, once you have them adjusted for the implement I actually like them a little better as you can adjust all of the side flop out.
7th up from the bottom of the page, item # 159350, $22.11 each

Thanks for the reply, I hdnt considered drilling the arms, So I'll probably go with the D9NNB856AA (27.5") assembly and drill the arms.

That's probably not going to work, with 29" arms and a 27 1/2 stabilizer you only have 1 1/2, when you drill hole for the short stabilizer pins and put a nut on them they will be sticking back far enough to interfere with the hitch pins on the implement your trying to hook to

My current flat stabilizer bar is 29" center holes. using a 27 1/2" newer type bar might interfere with the leveling rod assemblies, i'll have to measure, but not the hitch pins as they would be then approx 10" away, they are 8.5" now. I think I'm going to order 1/2 the newer style bar tube and make a solid bar longer by drilling out the adjustment holes so Ill have the original 29".

Does your tractor have the extend a link lift arms or standard one piece
My 4000 has extend a link with the stabilizer pin back a few inches from the ball
My 4000SU has standard one piece lift arms were the stabilizer connects to the implement beside the ball.
Each thats a different stabilizer.
Originally I thought you were looking for the newer box style stabilizers
