756 sway limiter

Hooking up a Farm King disc mower on the 3 point hitch on the 756 Ih. How do you adjust the sway limiter to keep the hitch from swinging from side
to side. The way they are now have too much swing. I need to take the swing out of the 3 point. Just not sure what Ih has there. what ever it is
it is original. Thanks for any help.

There should be some holes in the sway limiters to insert some bolts to limit travel. On IH hitches it doesn't stop it completely. There is a company that sells sway blocks, I think, for them. I can't think of the name off hand. I use a Kuhn disc mower on my 766, the bolts hold it well enough for the mower.

Lateral swing (sway) of the hitch is controlled by installing or removing pins in the lateral limiter housings. Installing pins makes lateral limiter rigid , removing pins make it free to allow hitch to sway side to side. Lateral limiter must be adjusted for Cat. I or Cat. II equipment. Cat.I requires rear clevis of lateral limiter to be pinned to the eyebolts, at the inner side of the lower lift arms, with the offset holes in the eyebolt turned toward the rear of the tractor. Cat II equipment , put offset holes in eyebolt toward the front. Remove the pin in the clevis and eyebolt then turn the eyebolt 180 degrees and reinstall pin in clevis and eyebolt. Picture above shows parts.
