7610/755 inj pump

Have 755b hoe, same engine & fuel system as 7610: Lucas Cav DPS. Trying to start after major rebuilt (sleeved cylinders). Cant get fuel thru injector pump. Pump not used for 8 months, worked perfectly prior to removal. Was in plastic bag while off. Have fuel thru filters. Replaced solenoid on pump, can hear click. Havent put injectors in yet so it spins over good. Looking for ideas. Pump shop sez the internals are probably gummed up due to fuel thats available these days, sez modern fuel can go bad in months. Sez pump is pricey to rebuild, I want to try everything possible so I can avoid rebuild. Suggestions? Your experiences

Any traces of water in fuel, or Bio diesel will stick internal parts when setting. I have a JD 3010 pump on the test stand now that came in for the same issue. The DPS pumps are not that bad to repair IF the cam ring/scroll plates and hydraulic head are good.
