im in the middle of replacing the clutch in my 1949 oliver 77 and want to delete the pto for pulling. do i have to reinstall any parts after i pull the pto and 5" shaft other than covering the rear hole. im new to the 77 and would appreciate a little help from all you oliver vets.

The only other thing it runs is the pump or cultivator lift,so if you're not going to run one of those,no. Just put an aluminum cover or something over the hole in back.

rrlund, It has the mechanical lift on the trans cover but im gonna put a flat top cover from korves on it and also the belt pulley delete cover. i read in the manual that the belt delete cover needs an input shaft oil seal, retainer with oil seal, retainer gasket, and felt washer. would you happen to know who sells these parts?
