okay I have a 770 oliver with dual remotes. it lifts good and strong, but the oil is disappearing. no external leaks. so im figuring its leaking internal dumping fluid in the rear differential or transmission. can anyone tell me it this is just a blown seal issue, and a simple fix. I know the pto has to come out to remove pump cover, but just wondering if anyone has been down this road before.

Yes, it could be the seals. If it is, look at the end plates for ANY signs of the gears grinding into them. If there is grinding marks you will need to have them machined. Also the bearings will need to be replaced.
Another cause of the fluid loss might be a cracked center plate. That would require a new one.
Been there, done that (too many times).

What oleblu says and if you head down to the Oliver/Cockshut board and look for "centerplate" I believe is his YT name, He is the expert on rebuilding and selling parts for the hyd. systems.

Not uncommon on the Oliver tractors that the PTO shaft seals go bad and dump fluid into the transmission. Not to bad a job to pull the PTO off then the drive shaft then you can unbolt the hyd unit and install new seals

I put two sets of seals in mine and also you could have a hair line crack in the middle section of the pump have had that happen.
