7700 3-point float?

I have a new-to-me 7700 and I'm wondering if the 3-point arms have a float position. I can't find anything in the owners manual that shows that ability. I'd like to use the tractor on a back blade to move snow this winter.

The 3-point lift cylinder only lifts the arms, it does not power them down. So then, by definition, a 3-point hitch floats in one direction. If you want it to float in both directions, simply leave the control handle all the way down.

As Bern has said. the 3 point lift is only powered when lifting. Gravity is the only power that lowers it.
