7710 3 point hitch

When I raise the 3 pt hitch, it wants to sag down and respond to the position the lever is in. The hydraulics, O rings and seals have all been replaced, but it didn't cure the problem. Is there an adjustment that should be made, and can it be done from the outside of the tractor? This tractor has load monitor transmission in it. Just wondering if this is the problem.

Yes, it's more than likely a load monitor adjustment issue. Was it you or somebody else that asked about this a few weeks ago?
Check the system selector linkage to make sure that there is a differentiation between Draft (forward), Position (middle) and Load Monitor (rear). With the lift control lever raised you should find it hard to get it into position from load monitor. Lower the arms and then move the system selector forward one notch, then look at what it corresponds to on the chart. If it's not correct, adjust the linkage.

For what it's worth, the load monitor will always cause the arms to hunt when you let the clutch out. It responds to driveline torque and that hunting simply tells you that it's working.

There is an adjustment procedure for the load monitor fork that requires removing the fuel tank for access, and you would want to review it in the service manual first. I don't remember it off the top of my head.
I simply avoid using the load monitor an work mostly in position control 95 % of the time anyway...

Yes, that was me. I had all the linkages apart and readjusted them a bit, but I still haven't cured the problem. I haven't had time to adjust the fork inside the transmission yet. I have to go to Mexico and check out the sand and Tequila first. I have acquired shop manuals for these tractors and have read quite a bit about it. I'll get back to you in about a month.
