my brother has a 1985 7710 an it has a lever on the dash that has 2 or 3 settings on it can anyone tell us what it does it is up from streering colum
 
If it's a rotary switch just to the left of the column... then I'd say that is the signal indicator switch. It's just a left/right selector that's used when the flashers are turned on.
